Esvin Advanced Technologies Limited (ESVIN TECH) has its registered office at Esvin House, Chennai and its Research and Production facilities located in Erode, Tamil Nadu producing Biofertilizers and supplying Biomass to Seshasayee paper and Boards ( SPB ) at Erode, for co-firing in their coal fired Boilers.

The Company has developed a Gasification Technology (with a license from an American Company ) for treatment of Liquid Biomass such as Black liquor  and distillery spent wash (DSW) by setting up a Demo plant at the Mill site of SPB and  a patented a process for manufacture of Liquid Sugar from Raw Sugarcane juice developed at Ponni Sugars, Erode, together with a confectionery major in South India -all in the mid-90s .

Also promoted the adoption of Enzymatic bleaching in the Paper industries in late 90s, through a Joint Venture Company (JVC) with an Australian Company, by manufacturing enzyme at commercial Scale in Chennai and conducting mill scale trials in India and China. The JVC was later taken over by a leading Enzyme manufacturing Company in India.

At present the Company is focussed on the promotion of Bio Coal and Bio syngas from Agro residues to replace coal in the Steel and Cement Industries, (the two biggest CO2 emitting industries in India) and also Green H2 from gasification of Biomass, through marketing tie up with Innovative technologies suppliers from America, Europe, etc.

The company is the only one from South India to be inducted into the Technical Subcommittee Group (TSG) of NITI Aayog, specifically formed in 2021 for Gasification of Coal, in recognition of the Company  which has promoted the concept of producing methanol from lignite to NLC India and the project to produce 1200 tpd of methanol is slated for start-up by 2027. This will pave the way for setting up of several Coal based methanol plants in India for Methanol Blending of Program ( MBP) up to 15% in petrol.

 Esvin Tech is also one of the Knowledge Partners of International Centre for Sustainable Carbon (ICSC) based in London.
